Summary and Artifacts-
Capstone projects
This page contains the grant proposal, application, and potential resources purchase quote for the first of my two Capstone projects. This grant proposal is an effort to secure funding for graphic novels and other visual literature needed to support members of our school community. The second section contains the document that will be included on the Caney Creek High School Library website. Each of the sections below demonstrates my growth and application of the library standards through real-world projects that are genuinely needed in my host library.
The originally planned grant proposal amount is too substantial to complete in the scope of this seven-week course, and will require acquisition of district approval, and further research, and will not be completed until closer to the application deadline in the summer of 2024. My mentor librarian and I will continue to work on the necessary elements to complete this grant request in the spring of 2024.

Section 02
Project A
Grant Proposal for Library Resource Acquisition
After consideration and calculation, the CCHS librarian and I found the monetary need for the technology updates for the library to be over $47,000. We will continue to work on the grant to secure these funds, but I will submit the following grant proposal (required time and budget allocation) for the Will Eisner Graphic Novel Growth Grant for the purchase of materials for the easy read/graphic novel section of the library. The grant application can be viewed here. You can also view the quote for some of the resources that are being considered.

Compilation of Podcasts for Our Library Patrons
This is the collection of podcasts curated to create an asynchronous extension of curriculum-based learning, as well as provide ease of access to the whole community in an intuitive method to access these podcasts.
